Bartlett Adjustment International, LLC is led by its President and Managing Member, Derrick Bartlett. Derrick began his career as a claims examiner for a large property and casualty insurer. Derrick then accepted a position as independent adjuster at the Manhattan headquarters of a well-respected independent adjustment firm/third-party administrator, serving domestic and overseas insurers and self-insured entities. During his 29 year career as an Independent Adjuster, Executive General Adjuster and Vice-President, Derrick handled virtually every conceivable type of first-party and liability claim arising from fires, floods, the 9/11 terrorist attacks, Superstorm Sandy, innumerable CAT losses and the COVID-19 pandemic. Derrick’s technical expertise, wide-ranging experience and reputation for professional excellence are known throughout the industry. Although the hallmark of Derrick’s career has been his ability to facilitate the amicable resolution of difficult claims, Derrick has also successfully testified at numerous trials, arbitration proceedings and countless depositions.
